It will be coming home in book bags this week and is written for both children and families so please do look out for it and share it with your child. The first edition has been written with a group of children representing each class in school. Each half term, there will be a different team coming together to write the newsletter.

We are so lucky to be able to work with Rebecca Webb, a senior primary English lecturer from the University of Chichester, each Thursday. Rebecca has already had a huge impact on us as readers in school – both children and adults – and we are really excited to see this newsletter being published half termly as a reflection of all the wonderful reading going on in and beyond our school.

Do enjoy sharing this first edition with your child and please do encourage them to curl up with a good book over the holiday!
