Our Wildlife Club meet every Thursday after school with amazing Mrs Akehurst who is passionate about the great outdoors.
Mrs Akehurst has put together the most fabulous term of activities for this lucky group of children. This week they have been making bird feeders using cheerios, honey and seeds. Plans for the term ahead include: making a bird box, creating a compost bin for the woodland area, hedgehogs and frog spawn, planting wild flower seeds and seed bombs, bug hunting and bug hotels! What a lucky bunch! A huge thank you to Mrs Akehurst for her care, thought and passion that have gone into planning such a wonderful range of environmental activities for the children to enjoy! We are very lucky to have Mrs Akehurst on our staff team.
