We spent a lovely Friday afternoon in collaborative learning with year six and year one! We played games, read stories and even wrote a book inspired by Oi Frog by Kes Gray called 'Oi Year One!'
This afternoon, we have all enjoyed curling up and devouring a cup of hot chocolate while listening to some fabulous stories shared by members of staff during the afternoon.
World book day celebrations have got off to a riotous start at Fishbourne. As ever, the children look just superb and much fun is being enjoyed by everyone sharing their costumes and the story behind their choices.
Our fabulous Panda Class are enjoying their hook into their brand new learning experience, Ain't no Mountain High Enough which is a geography based experience.
Elephant Class are going to be learning about the impact that a healthy diet and exercise has on our bodies. They are also carrying out science experiments linked to their superhero theme!
Just before half term Koala Class showcased their 3 week Learning Journey in the form of an exhibition! The children had worked incredibly hard to craft a piece of non fiction writing.
Learning outside the classroom is something we are passionate about at Fishbourne. Today we met Simon Whitmore, our local authority Outdoor Education Advisor who was in school carrying out an audit of our provision.
