Volunteering in school

'There is only one you in this great big world make it a better place'

Could you make our world a better place to be?

Our school is a friendly, creative and happy place where children are celebrated for their unique gifts and nurtured to become courageous, determined, positive, collaborative and reflective learners who go on to make the world a better place to be.

We are looking to recruit an army of volunteers at Fishbourne Primary School next academic year to support our children with their learning following this challenging time. We would like our volunteers to be in a position to commit to being in school for at least an hour each week.

During the second half of the summer term, volunteers will be provided with training for the role that will include:
*The role of a volunteer
*Safeguarding
*Reading with children and supporting learning

There is a possibility, if there is a high enough level of need, we will run a crèche for pre-school aged children so that any parents wishing to volunteer are able to do so.

If you would like to find out more about getting involved, please do get in touch and we will be delighted to provide you with more information:  office@fishbourneprimary.co.uk
All volunteers will be subject to a DBS check and complete safeguarding training.
