Reflection time

For those children coming into school, we will be continuing to have our daily act of worship (or assembly as it’s known to our children!) which will be held in class bubbles.

We will use this time to explore the school learning behaviours of courage, determination, positivity, reflection and collaboration during this time. At this challenging time, these behaviours play such an important part in our approach to the wider-situation – for children and adults! In our weekly ‘family letter’ which will resume next Thursday, we will continue to provide a short film with a story which we hope will be helpful to share as a family and talk about.

The children in school will pray this prayer together each day:

Father God,
Thank you for our school family, every member of it – big and small.

Help us to remember that on our own, we're special, and we can chase our dream.
But that when we join up, hand in hand, together, we're a team.

Amen.

We will also be using some of the children’s favourite hymns in school which you could use with your family at home:
