Starting with an amazing fossil workshop, Year 2 become palaeontologists and got to unearth some incredible fossils. They were very careful and worked collaboratively to explore what each fossil was. The children were able to match fossils to drawings and find out just how old they each were. Some fossils were from living things which roamed the earth 460 million years ago.

Reception class joined Year 2 for a very exciting second half of the afternoon where the child got to meet a very large creature! A Tyrannosaurs! She was ENORMOUS!!! It was incredible to see just how big a  Tyrannosaurs was and in our own school hall!
