Outdoor learning day

What an AMAZING day we all enjoyed learning outside on the penultimate day of term!

The children spent the day in their house teams enjoying a range of activities on the school field including: fire lighting, shelter building, wood whittling, dissecting owl pellets and weaving. It was a glorious day – collaboration at its very best and so joyous to see the children supporting one another.

The day finished with a special celebration assembly where we welcomed Dee, the founder of ‘Gareth’s Legacy’ to present certificates for courage, determination, reflection, collaboration and positivity to each class. This final part of the day was so special and provided a lovely opportunity to celebrate our children’s learning beyond the classroom.

A huge thank you to Chichester Forest School, our amazing staff team and to Dee for making such magical learning happen so close to the end of the summer term!
